Jeni Irwin

I am a proud graduate of Anderson County High School's Class of 2003, where I served as student body president, National Honor Society treasurer, and LEO Club member.  I attended Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, where I began my collegiate gymnastics career. I spent two years at Kent State and later transferred to the University of Kentucky, where I managed the gymnastics team on an athletic scholarship and continued to pursue my degree in math education.  I graduated in 2008 and was hired as an eighth grade math teacher at South Doyle Middle School in Knox County. An opportunity arose that allowed me to return to Anderson County High School as a math coach, where I spent eight years teaching algebra and coaching cheerleading. I have since earned my master's and educational specialist degrees in educational leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. I am married and blessed with four daughters. I feel fortunate to be able to serve as an assistant principal at the school and in the community that means so much to me.
