Advanced Art II-IV

 

 Advanced art is combination of Art II-IV. Art 1 is a pre-requisite and you must be approved to move up. This course consists of a more in depth study of art history and art technique. Students are encouraged to work more independently and develop their own style. Students planning to focus on art, architecture, art history, and graphic design after high school will work to build a portfolio. Independent study is available but must be approved.

Advanced Art students are encouraged to compete in local art competitions such as the Maryville Student Competition and the KMA Student Art Show
